Engagement and Scope

Engagement Letters

All services will be governed by a written engagement letter that outlines the specific scope of work, fees, and responsibilities of both parties.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

•Provide complete and accurate information in a timely manner
•Respond to requests for information or clarification promptly
•Review and approve work product before filing or submission
•Maintain proper records and documentation
•Notify us immediately of any changes in financial circumstances or business operations

Fees and Payment

Fee Structure

Fees for services will be clearly outlined in the engagement letter. Payment terms include:

•Hourly rates, flat fees, or monthly retainers as specified
•Payment due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed
•Late payment fees may apply to overdue balances
•We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment

Refund Policy

Fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. However, we will work with you to resolve any concerns about our services.

Professional Standards

As licensed CPAs, we adhere to:

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for damages arising from services provided shall be limited to the fees paid for those specific services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. We maintain professional liability insurance as required by law.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance with professional standards and applicable law. Client information will not be disclosed without authorization except as required by law or professional standards.

Disclaimer of Warranties

While we strive for accuracy and quality in all work:

•We do not guarantee specific tax outcomes or results
•Tax laws and regulations are subject to change and interpretation
•Our advice is based on information provided by the client and current understanding of tax law
•Clients are ultimately responsible for information reported on tax returns

Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement upon written notice. Upon termination:

•Client remains responsible for fees incurred through the termination date
•We will provide client files and work product upon request
•We may retain copies of client records as required by professional standards

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to mediation or arbitration in Los Angeles County, California.

Intellectual Property

The content on our website, including calculators, guides, and resources, is owned by Finance Fellas and protected by copyright. You may use these resources for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Website Use
